I still remember my first job vividly: freshly graduated, full of questions – but without a roadmap. The gap between theory and practice was huge. There was hardly any support, no suitable materials, no mentoring.

Instead: tax chaos, a billing jungle, and helplessness.
I have continuously pursued further education – from IBCLC to THK – and thus deepened my understanding of the work as a midwife.

Today I want to support young female colleagues on their path to self-employment – with what I myself would have wished for back then: A mentor who takes you seriously. Structured support, professional materials, practical knowledge – understandable and with a wealth of expertise.
